Marking Scheme in BITSAT 2022:

You will be presented with four possible answers, but only one will be correct. Every question is objective (multiple-choice), and only one answer will be accurate. You will receive three points for every correct response, but lose one point for every incorrect response (-1mark). Even if the applicant is allowed to skip questions, the computer will not allow them to choose more than one answer from a given set of options as the correct response to any given question.

This is the total quantity of questions:

One hundred fifty questions will be included on the examination. There is no overall time limit for the exam, and each component has its own timer. You are allowed to abandon any of the responses you have already supplied to any of the 150 questions.

12 more questions:

After completing all 150 questions on the exam, you will be given the opportunity to answer an additional 12 questions if there is time remaining (without skipping any of the questions). These supplemental questions will only be taken from mathematics, chemistry, and physics, with four questions drawn from each of these three academic areas. After selecting the option to answer more questions throughout the exam, you will no longer be able to amend your answers to any of the initial 150 questions.

As a result, a good student should be able to pass the examination within the allotted time with a score of at least 150 accurate answers out of 180 questions. Applicants who have already exhibited an exceptional level of excellence will have the opportunity to increase their score by answering additional questions (up to a maximum of 12).

Any attempt to answer the questions by making educated assumptions is extremely unlikely to result in any kind of advantage, and may even result in a decrease in the total score. You must remember, however, that there will be a point deduction for inaccurate replies and you must remember that there will be a point deduction for incorrect responses.

In this particular circumstance, the applicant will be expected to conform to the expert committee’s conclusion.

The questions on the exam, as well as the instructions for taking the exam, will be presented exclusively in English. Candidates are required to have a pen with them at all times so that they can sign documents and perform other responsibilities. In the event that they are necessary, blank pages for use as preliminary draughts will be made accessible. Frequently Asked Questions(FAQs)

1. Can I take BITSAT Session 2 without registering for Session 1?

Ans: To be eligible to register for the BITS Aptitude Test (BITSAT) session 2 examination, applicants must have previously participated in the BITS Aptitude Examination (BITSAT) 2022 session 1 exam and then decided to take it again.

2. Is BITSAT a remotely administered proctored exam?

Ans: At some time, the BITSAT will be administered via the internet. You will be required to take the examination at the designated place. They will not provide exams that can be completed in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

3. How many questions must be answered correctly on the BITSAT to obtain a passing grade?

Ans: Applicants should aim for a minimum score of 225 out of 450 on the BITSAT to maximise their chances of acceptance into a BITS institution. This will help applicants to demonstrate that they possess the requisite skills to flourish in the tough academic environment of a BITS institution.

4. How much does the Bachelor of Technology programme at BITS Pilani cost to complete in its entirety?

Ans: According to BITS Pilani’s pricing system, applicants must pay an admission fee of Rs 39,800 in addition to a total of Rs 1,78,000 for Semester 1 and Semester 2 combined. In other words, the total attendance cost will be Rs 1,78,000. The second-year tuition is 1,94,00 rupees, the third-year tuition is 2,11,500 rupees, and the fourth-year tuition is 2,305,000 rupees.

5. Is the BITSAT a sufficient approach to prepare for the NCERT?

Ans: It can be stated categorically that it is insufficient. One book cannot give adequate preparation for the BITSAT, the JEE, or any other test. To begin, I will add that it is highly recommended to begin preparations with the NCERT, and that it is essential to study it thoroughly and practise all possible amounts. To begin with, I will state that the NCERT is the best resource for preparation. In addition, I will note that starting the preparation process with the NCERT is, in my opinion, the greatest option.

6. Do we get scholarship in BITSAT?

Ans: When distributing seats, only the BITSAT examination score is taken into account (admission process only). Nevertheless, BITS, Pilani offers a broad variety of financial help options. You will only be eligible for scholarships if you have an excellent cumulative grade point average (CGPA), which is determined by your semester grades. If you do not have a good cumulative grade point average, you will not be eligible for scholarships.
